Home Office fines for lorry drivers and hauliers are being challenged.

The firms challenging the rules - one Romanian and one Dutch - want the fines cancelled and Home Office guidelines rewritten.

Hauliers and drivers can face civil penalties of up to £2,000 per migrant. Last year alone more than £6m of fines were issued for occurrences just in Calais.
