The recent proposed increase in the fine for text whilst driving from £100 to £150 may hopefully make more people think first. But it’s not just a fee increase; more importantly the penalty points issued will rise to four, meaning if you’re caught 3 times then you’re banned.

Funding arrives to solve to Operation Stack

In the Chancellor’s Autumn Statement, Charles Osborne has finally committed £250m into finding a long-term solution to Operation Stack.

Hopefully this will help stop Kent being brought to a standstill due to cross-Channel disruption, with Manston Airport and the M20 being used as a temporary car park for lorries.
